Are there any documnted cars with this option? If so how many were produced? I've owned 55 chevy's with the option . Never saw a 56 with it.The new judging manual states it was an option.

all 56 (corvette and pass cars/trucks)265 ci engines had oil filters as standard equipment. no 55 corvette 265 ci engines left st louis with oil filters. oil filters were optional on 55 chevy pass cars and trucks.hood clearance would be a problem installing the optional pass car oil filter, in thee pass car location, on a 55 corvette.mike
