    66 300HP fuel pump inlet

I thought I'd replace the rubber fuel line on my 66 300HP that connects the fuel tank line to the fuel pump. Mine looks aged and with the discussion of E10 fuels this looks to be a good maintenance task.
Does the rubber fuel line have any markings on it? The Judging Guide provides no information.
Also I noticed another issue, the inlet to my fuel pump has a straight fitting for the hose requiring the hose to make a 180* bend. According to vendor catalogs there is an adapter with a 90* pipe fitting to the hose. This adapter obviously faces the rear of the car but is it parallel to engine centerline or some other orientation to allow the rubber hose to align correctly.
I could not find any pictures in the archives.
Will the repo green fuel line hose clamps seal without leaking?
I did find in the archives a good tip to use teflon paste to assist in sealing the metal fittings.

PS My fuel pump is not the correct 4657 but does have the proper orientation of inlet and outets, both facing forward about 90* apart

The original rubber fuel hoses usually had "ribs" on them. Dr. Rebuild sells a reproduction of this fuel hose. Also, his fuel hose is of the correct OD and the original spring clamps supplied with his kits will seal with this hose, just like they did originally. If originality is important to you, this is the best way to go.

The configuration of the fuel inlet hose, including the elbow, is well-depicted on sheet 8, B3 of the 1966 Corvette AIM.

The correct fittings are shown in the attached photo. The hose piece is just a FLAPS product, not the ribbed repro. Pump is an Airtex 4657 -- same as AC configuration
