    Where are all the C-2's?

    I've been monitoring the threads everyday now for many weeks and of late, I have to say, there is not too much going on about C-2's. What am I to think? All the C-2 owners are out enjoying their cars this summer while all the other C-1, C-3 and C-4 owners are working on their cars. Guess we know who has it right. WINTER is for work! Summer is for fun and enjoyment of our Vettes.

      Stu -- I think you'll see the C2 board action pick up after the Carlisle event is over.

        Hey Stu,

        I don't know about the rest, but I drive my '65 when I'm home from the road. She's quite the performer! I recently gave an '08 ZO6 a run for his money. But you're right, I don't see many C2s out there when I am.

        Take care, Mike

          Stu I don't see many for sale either. Are you going to Octobervettes in Old Town this year? If so I will see you there. That is always a great show. Tom Stanton

            Tom;

            We'll try to make it. My son just off loaded his third pace car to some UAB Prince, I guess, so he's showing more interest in getting involved again with the 63. He's also looking at some other cars, including the current E-Bay P.C.. He has to keep involved in the NCRS hobby. He sold this last one based on his reputation as a 78 P.C Guru.

            I've been watching your threads and posts of late, and am glad to see you are really in it - what was the latest; a trip to the Museum? sounds great!

              I will probably be posting questions about C2's and sure will be reading/searching posts about them. I just picked up a 1 owner, fully documented, So. Ca. 65 coupe to keep my 60 Corvette and 1965 Cobra company.

                Just driving around a lot:

                Just did some 900 miles to the National, others must have done 10k miles or more.

                Regards,

                    Bryan and Jerry;

                    Thanks for posting the pictures. Aren't they just about the most perfect designed cars? Wow! Just can't get enough of them. I've had my 63 since new and have never grown tired of it. I have many times just parked it at different settings and taken pictures or just stood back and admired it. No wonder it was the most recognized "coolest" car in a world wide poll a few years back.

                    Thanks again. Have a great week end.

                      I liked it so much that I traded my 72 for it!

                        Hey Stu. I have posted a bunch of posts regarding my C2s. AM readying one for the Kissimmee meet, and the other is too original to mess with - I simply jump in her and driver her. Some other members are correct though when they say they don't see many for sale. Trust me, I look and what's out there for sale is predominantly not good cars. I am under the impression that the good cars trade hands privately and amongst friends, or friends of friends. The market is still strong on the good cars with no stories I feel. I have been looking for another real 67 coupe with a real motor for a long time and have looked at many many cars. Not any good ones out there. ARA

                            My 67 has been to 3 car shows in 2 weeks, the Owl cafe, Christian Rodders at the Sonic and the Rio Grande community car show( that was great, home made burrito's and drinks), this was last Sat. Nothing to do except wait until the first of Sept. cruise nite at the Owl. Dale

                              I'll be taking my 67 for a 100+ mile ride along the LI beaches. Life is Good.
