C2 BB Ignition Shield Identification

Looking for some help.....

I've attached some pictures of an ignition shield that I'm looking to purchase. Is this the correct shield for a '67 L71 BB? The reason I ask is because the front of it looks different than that shown in the AIM on pages 404 & 405. On those pages, it looks like the "cutout" in the front is different and there is a "bulge outward" on the right hand side........Or perhaps, the picture in the AIM is for a L36 vs. a L71 (don't know if they were different.....??) or maybe it's just the angle of the way the picture shows in the AIM. I've attached 3 views: 1) looking from the back, 2) looking from the front and, 3) looking straight down from the top. Inside of the top cover, is a myler insulation piece......

Any help wold be appreciated.....

Bob -- I don't have a '67 AIM, but going purely by the engineering drawings of BB ign. shielding in Noland's Vol 2, page 437, I'd say that you have a 1967 shield assembly # 3900517, good for L36, L68, or L71, depending on the grounding clip attached.
