    Any suggestions on how to "soften" never used original '65 tires?

      Mike, not sure what you mean by 'soften', but I would NEVER drive a car with tires that old. Bill.

          There have be numerous articles written about the danger of riding on tires that are more than five or six years old regardless of their appearance.

              I would never drive on them, but I would put them on spare rims and use them for judging. If your not into judging I would put them up for sale, as I would think plenty of people would have an interest in them.
