    1964 parking lights

Hi all, just a detail question on 64 parking lights. The used ones I just procurred have wire colors of lt blue, purple, and white, which sound correct. They are missing the lens gasket but do have slightly magnetic screws and beat up lenses. Where can I get correct gaskets and lenses, nuts for the studs, etc for a correct parking lamp? Thanks,
    Dan

Drove the 64 over 5000 miles to three Regionals and the San Jose National, one dust storm and 40 lbs of bugs!

Thanks James, the old gasket traces appear to be grey, so that sounds correct. The old screws are zinc plated with a slightly larger philips head on it than the smaller chrome ones in my current repro lights, not sure about those. Both are magnetic.

Hi Alan, no boots on the lights, not original to car. The ones on there now have a white, purple and red wire. A 20 year old 'repro' of some sort. Knowing that you are the 64 parking light Guru and your car was built 3 days after mine, I'm all ears!!!! Tell me about the 'boot', lens screws, gasket color etc. Does the Doc have a 'boot' etc. Hate to bug him with such a small order, will wait until I can order a bunch of stuff.

Do not believe anyone has the parking light boot.

Since these boots are only for 63 & 64 (perhaps not all 64) do not think it will be worth anyones time to repo them. Now if you look at the points available for front parking lights it's a 10/10. Think you could only get hit for 2pts on Configuration however configuration is made up of so many small items it would be hard to justify even a point if one was sure of the boot issue (which may still be questionable)
