    Correct Finish For Wiper Vacuum

When i purchased my 1970 I cleaned the Wiper vacuum canister and the brake cylinder cover with a metal cleaner to remove the corrosion and dirt. ow they are saying that they are not the proper color. Does anyone have any recommendations to fix this? I don't want to replace since they are original and work. Can I spray with an Eastwood product like a top coat to give them more of a gold finish?

Les, been there done that, dont do it, have it replated, you cannot duplicate the finish, I used Rich Fortiner he got mine replated costs about 85. plus shipping.Ed (49497)
