    Teak steering Wheel

How can you tell a original 1965 Teak steering wheel form a reproduction?

What are some of the big telling points to look for?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Sam --- in addition to those 4 photos I sent you about a month ago, here's the link to the recent NCRS thread in which I mentioned the old RESTORER article (go down to post # 6) where they talked to the guy who designed / made them, and the process involved (materials, orientation of grain, segments length, offset, etc.) which POSSIBLY allow one to detect a reproduction.

In the meantime, here's another two from the same original.
