    Please help me

    Hi, I need to remove an engine from a 1959. Do i have to remove the tranny first or can I Remove only the engine.

      You can do it either way. My preference is to keep them together as I have an easier time controlling them on my hoist and often times do clutch or convertor work at the same time. I think it is easier to separate or bolt engine to transmission out of the car than in the car.

          I agree with Steven, its a lot easier working on the trans/engine combo out of car. As long as you have a good hoist its not a tuff job.
