recommended color VHT exhaust paint

My engine rebuilder has used VHT before for exhaust manifold reconditioning and has process control for cleaning...application and correct curing....NEED ADVICE ON PREFERED COLOR....SILVER..FLAT BLACK OR CAST IRON COLOR...this is a stock original serial number 340hp 1962 327 with 2-1/2 manifolds....this car will be an ocasional driver and not necessarily judged

A fews months ago someone posted some pictures of his manifolds using the VHT Flameproof paint. You can do a search, but I seem to remember he used the cast iron and then clear on top.

I used VHT cast iron flameproof on the exhaust manifold and I'm planning to spray orange on top of it to make it spot on (I did the same for the engine itself)...
