    Re: Stalling pipe fix

Gosh Roy! I have not seen these for a long time. I used to set up dual quads for oval short track racing, and that was just one of my little tricks. In some cases, I could get by with just a real good float set up to prevent dragging, etc. I did both Vette Quads and Caddy Quads, the latter I actually liked the best. They did require adapters to mount on Vette manifolds, but I was jacking them up 1-1/4" anyway to overcome the Vette manifold difficiencies (lean cylinders). The Caddy's had larger Venturies and throttle bores, air idle screws, and ran both primaries together dumping both secondaries together as well. They were tricky to use in drag racing as they presented an excess torque situation off the line (broke lots of rotors), but were always good for a few more mph at the other end. Thanks for posting.

I would think everone would know this by now, a simple fix like spraying water down the Carb to remove Carbon back in the old days and other tricks.
