Chris, thanks for the documentation and pictures. Someday my project will be where you are and it helps to have pictures.

    Congrats,

    Paul

      My pleasure.

I'm trying my best to do things to get as few deductions in judging as possible. However, since I live in a nasty climate (Minnesota), I'm doing some things for preservation that I know will get a deduction in judging. For example, I'm not leaving the diff raw cast iron. In MN, that would last about 12 days and then be a big pile of rust. No thanks.

I'm aiming for Duntov, we'll see how close I can get. The car will for sure Top Flight at any level, and I should be able to get PV pretty easy (since everything is new and I'll have plenty of time to test things out before Iowa next May).

Great photo's and even a better job on your car. I'll bet you get above a 97 and you will be able to go for your PV and Duntov.
Now every day you spend in the garage you get a little closer to going for that first ride what a that is day.
        Keep up the GREAT work.

Thanks Bill, your comments and everyone else's mean a lot to me. This is definitely a labor of love at this point. I have read posts on this and other boards talking about what it means to them to make Duntov or even Top Flight. I want that kind of accomplishment. 10 years ago, it was getting my black belt in martial arts, 3 years ago it was getting my master's degree, now it's getting the Duntov award.....I wonder what's next?

Life is good, thanks guys. MUCH appreciated.
