ok guys got the pilot bearing in and flywheel on question tho

Like I said I have the flywheel on and torqued to 60ft lbs..I used the grease method to get the old pilot bearing out..worked great!

    watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFXhTR-epws

however, at 7:12 into the video is that correct to grease that? or would that just collect grit and cause problems?

Instead of asking people to wtch a 7 min video why don't you just describe what it shows, then maybe someone will answer

I can do that but if you fast forward to 7:12 into the video you will see what he is greasing.

might be better than me explaning since I'm certainly no mechanic.

Terry, be careful of using any heavy lube or grease on the shaft.... it can cause the disc to bind & you'll be pulling the trans again ( my bitter experience ! ) ... also, be sure you have a REAL pilot bearing... if it's magnetic, it's NOT . Many clutch kits contain an iron knockoff instead of the correct oiled bronze . Very little , if any, lube is needed .

"Lubriplate" is a great all around lubricant. Use a reasonable amount in the pilot bearing and on the nose of the input shaft. I would brush it on the input shaft splines to ensure they are coated uniformly and not too thick.
