c3: Under body reinforcement plate finish

What is the correct finish for these pieces( seats, lap and shoulder belts, etc.)
I'm replacing these. Caladonia tends to have black phosphate, others just black paint. The shoulder belt (in the rear wheel well) is zinc plated from Caladonia- this is a '73 only item.

I don't know about the shoulder belt in the wheel well, but for 1970-1972 the underbody (seats, lap and shoulder belts, etc. -- except the brackets for the cable between the inboard seat belt mounts) are black paint. Next answer: semi-gloss tending to gloss over bare metal -- I. e. NO primer.

Working from memory, I believe the inboard seatbelt brackets (with the cable between them) are natural -- but see what others have to say before you jump off the pier and get them re-finished. Also wait for others to wade in because 1973 may be different than the <1972.
