    62 temp gauge rebuilder

Any recommendations on a good temp gauge rebuilder. I have tried everything from wiring to replacing the temp sender (switch). I even cleaned up the wiring terminals. I hope I didn't ruin the terminals on the gauge itself.

If you get no replies I would check in the Driveline, there are several people in there that do that sort of thing. Have them give you references from other members and check them out.

I have an internal gauge for a 62. I bought an extra one a few months ago and do not need it. Let me know if you want to buy it. I paid 42.00 for it. Anyways let me know. It might be cheaper to replace the internal part of the gauge than to rebuild it.

Roger Scott of Corvette Instruments did my '55 gauges, they work fine and look great.

One alternative is to let Rick Stotler of Ricks Restoration in Joppa, Md impedance match the sender and gauge. In this way temperature accuracy will be assured. Rick has been in the gauge restoration business since the 80s. (800) 651 1270
