    top tank radiator dated 65

I bought a "project car" and am in the process of putting it together. The car was completely dis-assembled when I purchased it. The radiator I got is a aluminum top tank stamped 3151116 dated 65 E. NCRS specification guide says this number is for a 1961 with a supply tank. The radiator is definately a Harrison top tank. Can anybody help and tell me what I got.

Part number 3151116 is a top tank rad. for the early 1961 (270/315) high performance Corvettes and was used up to Vin. number 1700. Since yours is date coded April of 1965, it is a service replacement. Most likely painted black as the originals were installed unpainted.
