Re: A couple of bucks you have atop flight 54
Here is what caught my eye about that 54 - the odometer (35k) and the tach rpm counter (95k). I think the average relationship is about 3rpms on the counter = 1 mile. So the mileage reading COULD be correct at 35k.
So don't be deceived by your eyes - this could be a very low mileage 54!!!!

Re: A couple of bucks you have atop flight 54
Hi Steve! I'm still smiling from ear to ear, after attending my first NCRS National Convention. I only had one day there, but had a great, great, time. Loved seeing the superb cars of multiple era's, as really, really enjoyed seeing those American heritage racing Corvettes. All involved in the effort should be commended.
Only two regrets about the convention:
(A), whatever caused the lack of anyone renting swapmeet space is a negative for the conventions, and I hope the board re-thinks future swap meet space pricing. (IMHO) Due to prior committments, I was unable to attend the board meeting, but would have loved doing so. I feel the current board deserves some real praise for positive changes made during these past couple of years. We all hear about the few screw-ups, but seldom hear much about the positives. That's life.
(B), there were around 50 to 60 fellow members I hoped to meet, and to personally thank for the excellent, multiple tips and advice, I have been given in the three years I have been not only a member, but frequent visitor to the TDB. With my time restricted to only one day at the convention, I was only able to meet and thank a handful of people. One was Roy Bratz, who always brings us interesting finds such as this thread.
