I just emailed a company (CSP) that has produced Corvette Calendars for many years to order a 2010 calendar. I recieved a response that 2009 was the last year they were doing a Corvette calendar. CSP made a classic and a modified ,race etc. Corvette calendar. I used to get the classic which showed the cars option list, a question and answer and a few facts about that year, the location of photo and the owners name.. Any chance NCRS might produce and sell a Corvette calendar each year?

Re: NCRS Calendar?
A member of my local NCCC and NCRS clubs, John Dockter, was the photographer/recent owner of the CSP business and he had indicated to some of us that 2009 would likely be the last year. I hadn't heard it officially, but sounds like it is a done deal now. Too bad, as it was always a 'must have'. I see it was printed in Korea, which is becoming commonplace for small companies to remain competitive with some specialty items. The Corvette 'Car-A-Day' calendar which I also have at work is printed in China. I am in the printing business myself, and can identify with what some of the issues may have been...- Top

Re: NCRS Calendar?
Our local NCRS club produces an annual calendar using member's cars. Photos are submitted and a selection group determines the ones to be used. It is certainly not of the quality or content level as the CSP product but it does give us a calendar with local flavor. Producing one with a NCRS-wide basis would be a bit more involved, but could be done if someone took on the job of organizing it.- Top
