front bumper brace seal/inner fender dust shields

During the engine compartment blackout were the seal and/or dust shields also painted? If so were they partially or completely painted? Tx for any help.

Joe, on my early original 68 the dust shields have paint on them and the staples to hold them in were also fully covered by paint.

my 72' had all dust sheilds in place before the blackout.

They have some blackout on them, it was kind of light in coverage though - since they are very low in the engine compartment.

The sheilds that cover the upper control arm had a little bit more blackout on them.
