Detective work on maker of "091" that passes NCRS Judging

I heard second hand that there is a guy in California that supposedly is starting to make "091" coils that will pass NCRS Judging. The person wouldn't reveal the individual's name. I guess I didn't have the correct password.

I figure there can't be many people out there wanting to take the time to make a coil. Anyone have any idea who this may be? I understand that the person will only start work after receiving a check.

    I am all ears.

If his first name is Paul, I wouldn't be sending him any checks.

If his name is Paul, he sometimes shows up at Corvette Carlisle inside the big building. AGAIN cash and CARRY ONLY.

Is the story true about the '091 coil passing judging for a '62 340hp? What about workmanship and quality?

I found his work to be good - But like everyone else I learned the hard way with Paul. Cash and carry only with this guy.

Hi, I have an 091 from Paul, it's right on for my 64, have put 12K miles on it with no problems. Haven't seen his earlier 091 though, but this one much much better than the 'GM' restoration one I first had. Yes, look at his coils and buy in person!
