    Accessories I enjoy

While at the 09 Convention many people came up to me asking to see my accessories and after market items I had on my 55 Corvette that they heard about. So may be some new members here have never seen them . One of the item asked about was the after market of the 50's , look-out mirrors mounted on my inside mirror. They are also dark glass as the original .Just a note to members if you haven't drilled a hole or modified your Corvette or item ,they lose you no points in judging , the judges just over-look it because you haven't changed the part, so I never get dinged for having them installed . It's just not NCRS a proved . Some items I do have installed by adding a hole to install ( the hole is deducted not the item)

I like this one. Not too often seen on a midyear coupe, and I've been told that it's kind of ugly looking.

People forget that years ago Corvettes were just another CAR not a collector car and they did many no-factory mods to get better use of thier Corvette or enjoyment people drove thier Corvette and used them not like most NCRS people today

In 1972 a group of us drove our Corvettes from St Louis to Indy for 1st weekend time trials. It was rained out. This is my 65/396 that we spent the winter personalizing it.
And that"s the way it was 1972.

        A friends 67/435 with a few body mod's.

'Know a guy who ordered a '65 coupe and included the dealer accy. optional rack. When the rack was not on the car chrome buttons filled the holes.
