Re: Award Confirmation Service
I have no quarrel with the $300 as a 'members price'. Whether non members should pay a higher price or even be eligible to request history (at any price) is a subject of it's own, especially given the privacy issues of releasing past owner's names.
My sole question was to understand the justification behind paying the full $300 even if NCRS has never seen the car. I do agree it seems excessive and that a lesser fee would be more appropriate. If this service was intended partially to encourage more new members to come into the fold, this is not a very attractive incentive.
I doubt it will be solved here, this is the tech board.
