Neutral safety switch '65-'67 w/pwr glide

Has anyone had any luck either repairing or replacing the 4-wire NSS used with pwr glide + back up lights? Or, is there perhaps a compatible alternate that can be attached to the existing mounting plate? I split mine apart a couple years ago and tried to improve the old contact surfaces, etc, but it's going bad again forcing me to join the two 14 purples together thus bypassing the switch to get a reliable start.

I have an NOS replacement, but this is an assembly with 10' of wiring hardness to lay in and route ... wondering if there's an easier approach. Thanks.

Jeff, I would suggest a solder joint for each wire under the console and shrink tube the joints my friend.
