C4 Valve Covers

I have recently purchased my first Corvette - a 1991 coupe. This will also be my first restoration. I apologize in advance for any rookie questions. The finish on the valve covers is peeling. I have to pull them to replace the gaskets and while I have them off I was curious on how I can get these refinished. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Glen you are in for some fun in removing your 91's valve covers if they are similiar to what was required remove my 85's.

Thanks for the information. I'll look into the paint and also talk with some of my work vendors that do powder coating and see what I can come up with.

Does look like an interesting proposition as to how best to get to them to remove them.
