How often do you view complaints on the internet regarding poor service. I ordered a DC-12 correct dated coded battery for my 66 427 car for flight judging almost 3 yrs ago. For 35 months it ran flawlessly but unexpectedly it outright died. I sent a nice e-mail to Tom Kobman, the battery guru, and explained the issue. I was expecting an e-mail back telling me I was out of luck. Tom calls me at home and problem shoots the battery issue with me over the phone for 25mins from Ohio to Western Canada. He cannot understand why it only lasted 35 months as this is not the norm. He calls the manufacturer and does not get favourable results from them, but calls me back again 2 days later and tells me due to the geographicaly distance, do not send the battery back to Ohio, throw it away. Tom, replaced the battery with me paying a very nominal prorated fee, gave me the date coding free, and shipped it for free at over $ 45.00, and said he would eat the rest. He believes in looking after the customer. In my view fellow members, outstanding customer service from somebody that knows how to run a business. Thank- you, Tom at Restoration Battery. I will be a repeat customer...........
