firewall card holder plate
Our 57 has a firewall card holder plate, it's mounted on the little ledge, just to the left of the master cylinder, with two screws, it holds a card which is a little smaller than a business card, and has a piece of clear plastic over it, the card reads,

about 10 yrs ago, we were up at Paragon, (who has restored any number of Vette's) and we inquired about the plate, and they told us that they had seen these plates on Vette's before, but not very often, and that's all that we know about these plate's, any info about them, would be appreciated, I was unable to attach a pix of the plate to this post, but if anyone would like one, I would be glad to email one.
