427 - Firewall/Coil/Resistor Wiring Picture
Members:Just in final install of my L-36, I have a Pertronix breakless ignition system installed but need to verify the OTHER wires that go into the back of the chrome shielding to the COIL, and or Ballast Resistor. I have a "hot" red ignition wire coming out of the firewall rubber plug beside the wiper motor to the + coil, but would like to view a picture of the firewall area wiper motor to the right and below to view the wires and their COLORS going to the resistor as per factory. I'm putting my org Delco Remy coil and points/condenser back in anticpation of judging. I have a blk, red, yellow wires in this area, and a light pink wire from cowl harness center to starter that I believe according to my JG and AIM goes from starter solenoid to + coil also. A picture or diagram with proper wire colors would be GREAT. Can someone pls assist or is everyone in San Jose. thanks.
