68 repainting???
I hate to beat a dead horse, but need some help deciding what type of paint to use. I have a 68 L68 Silverstone silver/ silver inter car that is going into the shop in 2 wks. The painter has raised all the same concerns as everyone else. Has anyone else used other paint beside laquer and passed judging in silverstone. and what was the the formula and brand? Thanks for the help. The NCRS needs to make a ruling on this!!!!!

Kenny,
The body color alone is 85 points. So you will take a big hit. You can still get a flight award depending on how well the car scores otherwise including driving points.
