1959 Engine casting date vs. stamped date

Can a 3756519 block with a casting date of "K258" which I think is Nov.25th 1958 have a stamped pad date of FII25CQ? (Which is Nov. 25)

same day.

Yes, but it is unusual. I have seen this a couple of times on 50s vintage passenger car engines, and one Corvette engine.
Heard an explanation about this that made sense. Block is cast on first shift, and assembled on third shift of the same day.
Certainly possible.

Yes, blocks were trucked in multiple loads daily the 40 or so miles from Saginaw to Flint and were used last in-first out in many cases.

Seems rather optimistic to me. Cast in the morning, machined during the day and assembled at night. Wow! Does that even allow enough time for the casting to cool, say nothing about cure. Don't think I'd care to have such an engine, but that's just me.
