C 1 FI Drive Cable Lubricant-

Could someone recommend a lubricant for the fuel injection drive cable.

    Thank you,

      Yep, for 30+yrs, ZERO problems.
Although, about once a year, I pull the cable and grease it.

DON'T ask me how after many decades of using grease, I one time used that silvery "Anti Sieze" compound.

Hey, it felt greasy. I broke 2-3 cables within a few years.

It has axle bearing grease back in it now.

Richard, Disc brake wheel bearing grease. Any brand will do. Put as much as possible on the cable.
See a post earlier in the week from David Zammitt on drive cables to learn more. Thanks, John

I don't always practice what I preach. The inexpensive disc brake wheel bearing grease will work just fine. But in my own cars I use Dow Corning #44. Mid temp medium consistency grease. Why do I use it you ask? Because I got stuck with a case of it years ago and have been trying to use it up.
