Is anyone restoring the P-02 Hubcaps?

I've been watching for a Mint set of these, but they don't come up often. Is anybody restoring these P-02's?

I'm thinking they'd look good with a set of redlines on my Black 69.

    Thanks

    Hi John,
No help on a PO2 source just a 2 cent opinion.... when I think of, and remember 69s, I think of red-stripes with rally wheels, and white-stripes with PO2s.
I do love the red-stripes on a black car!!!!
    Regards,

        John,

Here is a thread about P0-2 that you might find interesting and has pictures with redlines, too.

Yep, I think it will work.

P02's, Redlines and sidepipes on a Black Car.

Plus I think it will help date the car with a more vintage, unique look. The rallies were put on everything it seems.

You'd think I could find a photo set up exactly like mine would be.

John, The centers are available new and the fins can be found used, the problem is locating the main cap without rash or dings. I recieved a set from chiciago corvette that are pretty nice but cost $850.00 (3 months waiting) and need restoration that I am doing myself with a lots of time involved. Steve

Ouch.... I may have to re-prioritize my extras and focus on getting it finished and roadworthy.

Who sells the center caps? I may have found a set that's easily restorable. (relatively)

I didn't see any in Paragon's online catalog, nor ecklers.

                    Tried that.

                      Download Paragon's catalog.
THe PDF is searchable and contains ALL their part numbers. Far easier than paging thru the paper edition.

                        Thank you both.

I wonder how they justify $50 for a complete set of (4) Aluminum Wheel center caps and emblems and charge $53 Each for the P02 caps.

Tooling costs on a slow moving part maybe.

                        Pretty steep.

                          John,

I shopped around to see who had the best price on the centers. Then I called Keen Parts to see if they would beat it. They did and gave free shipping too.

You can check them out at http://keenparts.com/index.php
