    69 weather strip

I am in the process of putting my 69 back together now that it's back from the paint shop. I have the doors on my table and attempting to install the new door weather seal. The ends are pretty much a no brainer since they screw in place however I'm a little confused on the rest that wrap around the door sides and bottom. My weather strip from Corvette Rubber has one flat side and I'm wondering if that attaches to the flat ridge parallel to the door itself or to the ridge that perpindicular to the door panel? There's also an indention, little trough like indention that runs the entire length of the strip. Any pictures and or thoughts would be appreciated. Jim

    Jim,

If you follow the link in my signature below to pictures of my 72, there are several pictures of the door (and other) weatherstripping.
