Nice looking 1985 Joe. If you still have R12 you will be cool all the way to CA. We really like the comfort of our 85's seats and R12 on a road trip.

Going to Barstow to join the Road Tour coming in from the east, then on to Santa Maria, Seaside and San Jose.

Are you flying out and staying with your son? Pleasanton is less than an hour to San Jose.

At first I was going to drive my 67, then my son lost his job as a financial analyst at Kaiser Permanente in Jan so I backed off on that idea. I got to thinking, after throwing him a few bucks, that maybe I would fly out as it was cheaper. Now that we are in the end of June with him still unemployed and I am sending more dollars to Calif than my retired butt should be able to afford, I backed off entirely on a NCRS Calif visit. When I eventually get out there, I will give you a shout, as I want to revisit Yosemite. Have fun, be safe and don't leave your 4 way flashers on too long.

I'll be riding with you guys in spirit. My Route 66 run was last year with my 18 year old son. Here's our road warrior:
