That ad really caught my eye on the front page of Motor Trend. Saw it on the news stand at the local CVS and realized I had not received my copy in the mail yet. Got home and checked the box and Wa La! There it was (same day). Made me recall the days when our subscriptions arrived before they appeared on the news stand.

Got to admit, even though my sons were both Air Force Jockies, I like the Navy Blue Angeles best. Got to see them both many times and the Angels put on a more impressive show starting with the fact that the F-18 with twin engines is more impressive than the T-Birds F-16's - and the color too. I like the show center cross of the two aircraft on the deck. You don't usually see them coming until they flash past over your head. My one son trained REO's at Pensacola in a joint Navy/Air force program so we got to see their first and last shows of that year. His only complaint about working with the Navy was that they were still using paper records for everything, just like WWII - nothing had changed.
