    Correct tire for '58- (670-15 U.S. Royal)?

    Can someone tell me if this is the correct tire for a '58? It's sold in the Coker Tire store on-line. Thanks, Marvin

    Marvin;

    I recently purchased the B.F. Goodrich Silvertown 6.70-15 4-ply polyester tubeless 2-1/2" white walls for my '58 in addition to a set of radials. If you are asking if they will be correct for judging, the JG calls for the U.S. Royal "Air Ride", the Silvertown's and Firestone "Deluxe Champion" tires as being the three that came with the cars when new. It says the white walls varies from 2"-2/12". Full originality points can be awarded only for matching the brand and grade. I guess the short answer is yes, the size you listed works for the '58.
