Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires

They are supposed to be made just for your "Muscle Car", but I think they will fit on my Sports Car.

I see them advertised in Hot Rod etc. and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. They seem to be priced the same as the Goodyear, but not a lot of info on how they ride, longevity of tread wear or where to buy them.

I could easily go for the Goodyear or others (if you would like to recommend one) but the coolness factor of the MT is intriguing.

These are going on my spare set of Pacecar wheels so they will only see the street, not for shows.

I don't know much about them but you can purchase them from Jegs. The catalog on internet has a description and pics.

The Mickey Thompson web site says. "Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cooper Tire & Rubber"

Cooper makes good tires. I've been looking at Coopers for my lowered '69 stepside but the M/T line has the exact sizes I need. (245/60 front, 275/60 rear). Not too many brands make the 245/60.

The site also says you can mount them white letters out or black side out so there is no boring unlettered back side like on some tires.
