Source for Male Spade Lug and Connector

I`m rebuilding a heater blower motor for a friend`s 1957. I will need to replace the leadwire and install the male spade lug with the plastic connector as well as replace the burshes . Is there a source for the correct parts??
Does anyone remember how to disengage the spade lug from the plastic connector?? I believe there`s a tang on the back side which must be depressed to allow removal. I tried to get in there with a small blade screwdriver but can`t seem to get the spade lug to release.

If I remember correctly you slide the tiny screwdriver in thru the front side on top and the little tang is down and pulls out the back. you keep the screwdriver in while pulling.

The part inside the plastic connector is the "female" terminal and it removes as describedin the previous post. I've attached a scan on the print of various styles of this part, the view showing the lock tang is the most illuminating in trying to remove the terminal from the plastic. These ude to be serviced thru the "standard parts catalog" at the chevy parts counter, and most parts rooms usually have one or two around from the "old days" if you check.

The plastic hood that the connector 'snaps' into changed over the years (different plastic materials). Most of the early originals are NOT nylon and tend to become brittle with age, exposure to heat and UV...

If the locking tab release tool you decide to use isn't of the correct size to insert in the hood's keyway, you can wind up cracking the hood via side loading when you attempt to compress the locking tab...

          Perhaps a picture will help.
Usually the tang will stay down once you insert a small screw driver to compress it. (not always) Tang is always on back side of connector as the above spec shows.
I got these at riwire.com - both male/female and GM connectors. Not only source but one I found. Good Luck

The last temp switch/sender I bought at O"reilly's had the plastic connector with it. I would check with them.

I think you'll find NAPA stocks individual connectors + their mating hoods...

                Another minor point -
All the complete engine wiring harness (I've seen to date) and the individual wire replacements to the Temp Sender used a tin colored connector - originals are gold colored.
