327/300 HP 67 Oil Pan with PS Question

I see people listing oil pans for my 327/300 HP 67 as being for power steering. What is the difference between a PS and non-PS oil pan?? Is there any difference between a Powerglide automatic and 4-speed oil pan? Thanks.

That is what I thought, but I've seen them listed that way several times and wondered if there was something I was missing.

All 63-74 Corvettes with small block and power steering must use the "5 quart" pan. However, all non power steering Corvettes without mechanical lifter engines also used this pan.

1963-65 Corvettes with small block mechanical lifter engines and a few 70-72 small block mechanical lifter engines used the "6 quart" pans. NONE of these applications could have also been equipped with power steering.

The above is what the vendor is "getting at" with the reference to power steering and non power steering pans.
