    Question about the San Jose Convention

    Hi all,

    I am a member living in San Jose who has never been to an NCRS convention. I have been through the info on this site and the NCRS magazine and I am still wondering:

    Is there a day when all the cars are going to be displayed where you can simply walk around and see everyone's cars? I can see the schedule regarding the judging etc but since I have never been to a convention and do not know the format. My father will be here from Florida at that time and would super just to see the cars parked.

          Scott, It is nice to know that you and I will not be the only rookies in San Jose. For myself I have NO IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT! I've been to Carlisle in PA, great fun. Will it be similar or what I hope is so much more? Either way I'll see many of you there!

              Wednesday or Thursday would be a good day to view the cars.

                      Road Tour arrives Sunday afternoon and that is when all the cars arrive and can be checked in - will be real hectic day getting everyone parked, etc.

                          Take look at the agenda on this site and you will be able to target the best time to visit. From Monday about 9am to 4pm Thursday you will see the cars. The doors close by 6pm M-W.

                              Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday would be good days. Sunday is generally a lot of set up activities. Monday will be operations checks, so those cars will be outside. Once ops is done they will be moving them inside. Please come and view the cars and there will most likely be vendors there with a variety of products. Come out have fun and introduce yourselves around.

                                  Sunday is not the day to go. Most or potentially all cars won't be placed into the main exhibit hall until Monday morning.
