    Capacitor's for 63 on cluster

The black wire came out of one of the capacitors.

    Fixable? Replaceable? Needed?

Thanks for any help on this.

The capacitor was there to minimize electrical "noise" in the radio. If your radio performs adequately in its present state, then the capacitor becomes a "correctness" issue.

Repairable? No. However there was an article in a past RESTORER where someone was able to reuse the capacitor can and install a new capacitor inside, retaining the external appearance, wire, etc.

You could also attempt to carefully drill a hole into the existing capacitor and glue the wire into the hole. obviously the capacitor will not function electrically.

You can replace with a new capacitor but "originality" suffers. You also might luck out and find a used one $$$$.
