    1954 Pennant blue paint

I sprayed a test panel today using PPG code 11238 Pennant blue. The paint seemed to be on the turquois side. I also have another paint code GM 1795, this seems to be on the dull side. A fellow collector let me borrow a piece of fender with the original paint. This shade is in between the two tests that I did. Anyone have any past experience with this paint?

Is this Base Coat / Clear Coat paint? I painted my 55 a few years ago with PPG BC / CC, and did the same thing that you did to get the formula. It really turned out good. I had to repaint a section about a month ago, so I had to get some more paint using the same paint formula. It matched good.
Here is the PPG formula off of the can.

    QMD658 19.0
