    Freeze Plugs - No Logo?

From what I can tell, my freeze plugs in my 56 did not have a logo and were just plain and smooth. Does anyone know where I can get replacement freeze plugs for my 265 that are plain with no logo? I have checked at the local shops and outlets and all I can find are logo plugs. Any help would be appreciated...I'm on the last leg of engine assembly and want to get it done and move on to the next project.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Look for brass plugs. The last engine I built that was the only way that I could find non logo plugs

Corvette Central sells them #301047. Better get two sets.

Spot putty can fill logos pretty darn quickly.

I can't believe a Rev would be involved with such deception or even mention the thought...

moroso sells the brass non-logo'd freeze plugs. be sure to lightly glass bead the exposed surfaces as paint will adhere much better.btw, jb welding the logos on the steel plugs is a venial sin. mike
