Door decal

Is anyone making the door decal that has the vin# and gvw" for a 72 or do I need to tape it off to repaint? Thanks

If you have the original save it as the trained eye can spot the repo and a good one is not cheap. They can be cut off but it's not easy. With a razor blade you cut the paint behind the label without cutting the label. Plan taking an hour and no brews before you start. Place it on a clear overlay on the back when you get it off. Trim extra clear overlay right at the black line. Reinstall with a new clear overlay. Next paint job is easy as their is no glue under the sticker. The overlay edges hold it on.
