    Raytek was purchased by Fluke a year or so ago, so many of their IR thermometers are now branded under the Fluke name. Agree that Raytek (or Fluke) is the brand to get....they should be very reliable and last many years.

    I purchased a Raytek ST60 ProPlus about 4 years ago, and it has performed very well. As Dick W said, you want to have good test equipment.
