Upper A-arm hardware finish

Guys,

I just spent the last hour going through the archives but can't find info on the finish of the upper a-arm hardware for a late (Sept) 69 car. I know I have seen it before but I just can't find it. So, once again, am I correct that the finish for the bushing hardware is natural for the large washer and black phosphate for the bolt and lock washer? For the bolts that hold the upper a-arm on, is it black phosphate with cad on the stover nuts?

Yes, on all counts. However, as far as the bushing retainer bolts and upper a-arm bolts, I'm not sure if the finish was black phosphate or black oxide. Those that I've seen in NOS condition appear to be black oxide to me. Each finish can mimic the other under certain conditions, though. In general, black oxide is "blacker" and "smoother" than black phosphate.
