    1960 glove box

    Can someone tell me what size screws mount glove box in 1960 I can't find them in any catalog I realize it's not a big deal but little things like this bother the heck out of me thanks, Mike

    the originals i have encountered are #10/32 pan head clutch drive about a 1/2 an inch long

        I am asking about the screws that hold the glove box assembly A/K (seat separater) in the car. sorry for any confusion thanks again, Mike

          Michael are you wanting the hinge screws or the latch screws. My car is next to me if you get back quickly ? The hinge screws have clutch heads on some of them. I can take a photo Stewy

            Stewart, I need the screws that hold the whole assembly in the car the complete glove box assembly, with door,push button for deck lid etc, thanks Mike

              Will take photos of glove compartment for you but the deck lid is in the too hard basket my hard top is on and It won't lift with the hard top on. Stewy

                Mike the catch is a bit blurred but it's a cheap camera. The hinge screws are correct I feel. The hinge has two clutch head screws and two normal phillips head star type. The big screw on the catch in red is correct wrong colour it should be chrome. I think it was the last two issues back in the restorer mag that had an article on getting the glove to shut correctly, could be beneficial for you to read.phpl6K8UOPM.jpg
