Do I have to remove the window glass from my 67 coupe in order to place the window channel runs (fuzzy channels that have the green bubble clips)? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brawley

Re: Window Channel Run
Brawley,I would say it is very necessary, and about the only
way the job can be done.
Honestly don't know how it can be done with out removal
from the door. The strip you speak of goes across the top of the window
and down the back side of the door you need room to remove the old
felt w/ (green bubbles) & to install the new felt strip.I have just done
mine and they are completely out of the car. While you are at it what
about the front w/s (on the 1/4 window? & the 1/4 rubber seal???
It just goes & goes.
good luck,

Re: Window Channel Run
Brawley,
if you don't want to remove the side window. You can cheat and remove the front window vent assembly. (I just mentioned this cause it sounds like you don't want to remove the side glass) If you decide to do it this way you don't even need to unbolt the side window lower chanel from the long regulator run.
By removing the vent frame assemble you will be able to slide the rear window forward enough to remove the window channel fuzzie and install the new one.
