My car was finally judged for the first time after six years of restoration and earned a Top Flight award at the Wisconsin Regional
. It's been a long and sometimes frustrating journey that I couldn't have done without the help of all the members of this technical board who so willingly shared their knowledge.
Having never been to a Regional Meet or had a car judged I didn't know what to expect and I can only say that the experience was beyond great. Everyone involved made an effort to see that we not only understood the judging process but that it was a 100% positive experience. Bill Calorico the '66 team leader was fantastic, as were all of the judges, including Bill Clupper and Chris Enstrom - both of whom it was a pleasure to finally meet in person.
The Wisconsin Chapter did a great job with this Regional and it was in a beautiful location.
What a great organization the NCRS is. I really hope that if anyone is on the fence about attending a meet or having a car judged that you do it.
Thanks again everybody,
Ian
