Replacing Fiberglass Panels - Quality & Advice

I am considering replacing the hood surround or perhaps the entire front fiberglass on my '63 with the press molded reproduction panels from Corvette Image. Has anyone had experience with their products and can comment on how well they fit? Has anyone ever done a hood surround replacement that could provide some tips on how to remove the original glass and how to install the replacement? Thanks in advance for any help.

Since posting this query I have searched the archives for pertinent info - there is a wealth of information out there on CI/quality so I feel I have answered that question myself. But I am still interested in advice on the method to use to remove the old hood surround. The only thing I can think of is to go to work with a body grinder on the outer surface of the original fiberglass at the bonded joints and just grind the original glass away. Is this how removal of original glass is typically done?

Eric -

A good, sharp putty knife and a small hammer will effectively separate the outer panels from the bonding strips - just try not to get into the bonding strips themselves or damage them.
