    Protect-o-plate misprint

Hi, I have a 1969 and on my protect-o-plate the street on the label is spelled wrong. The street is spelled irivington and on the label its spelled irivngton. Any one else notice something like this?

I'm sure many other typos exist. They were done by humans and errors happened often.

Is that Irvington, as in Irvington, New Jersey - lived there for 15 years as a kid. I also have a uncle who lived in Irvington New York. We had a Chevrolet Dealer on Lyons Ave. in New Jersey.

        Bruce -

The name/address tape was created by the salesman at the dealership with a plastic hand-squeezed Dymo labelmaker; its accuracy probably depended on whether he had two or three beers at lunch.

Amen to that! But, how did the Dymo label leave a DIFFERENT spelling on the book's adjacent cover page when it was run through a credit card emboss machine through carbon paper. I think that's the question that's posed...
